PHYSICS 323 - Electromagnetic Theory

FARMINGDALE STATE COLLEGE

Instructor: Dr. L. Makarowitz (Lupton 200A) (See Office Hours Posted on Lupton 200)

Text: Physics Volume 2, 5 th Edition, by Halliday, Resnick and Krane

Grading Policy:

Your grade in PHY 323 will be based on three large examinations (each worth 20 percent , with no exams dropped) and a comprehensive final examination (worth 40 percent). All exams (including the final exam) are traditional problem-solving exams, in which all work must be shown. Students must work independently on examinations, without the use of formula sheets, texts, notes, or other aids (except for a calculator).
